✳️ Activity 1: Learn about 3-D Printing
- Watch the following videos and take notes as you watch - you will be answering questions after viewing.

v) 3-D Printed Foods
vi) 3-D Printed Cars - Answer the following questions IN YOUR OWN WORDS. Neatly hand write on paper.

✳️ Activity 2: Your First Print - Sketchup LOGO
- View this Slides Presentation which will walk you through how to create a 3-d version of the Sketchup Logo.
- When the file is saved on your computer, you will be given an SD card to upload it on, or Mrs. Davis will show you how to use the cable to print directly to one of our printers.
- UNDER SUPERVISION
Work with Mrs. Davis to start the print, check every 15 minutes, and work with Mrs. Davis to remove your print from the printer when finished. Do NOT remove your print by yourself. It is easy to damage the print bed. - Complete your printed object by filing, sanding, priming and painting, (if desired).

- View this Slides Presentation which will walk you through how to create a name tag.
- When the file is saved on your computer, you will be given an SD card to upload it on, or Mrs. Davis will show you how to send it directly to one of our printers.

- View this Slides Presentation which will walk you through how to create your own castle. You may make changes in the castle to make it your own.
- When the file is saved on your computer, you will be given an SD card to upload it on, or Mrs. Davis will show you how to send it directly to one of our printers.

- Turn in your 3-D Printing Questions and Answers.
- Make a display highlighting your creations!
- Completed pages of website portfolio under Unit 8: 3-D Printing. Include photos of each project you completed and a reflection on the learning experience.

Check out this downloadable file from thingiverse to create a multi-piece turtle or design your own multi-piece object. Work with Mrs. Davis on when you can print this. You will need SUPERVISION when you print this.
